Power management company Eaton has announced its latest development in industrial and hazardous lighting, Crouse-Hinds series CEAG ExLin linear LEDs, certified for zone 1 and 2 hazardous area environments. The explosion-protected LED fixture provides industrial customers with typically more cost-effective lighting than traditional fluorescent fixtures.
“With a broad portfolio of solutions for harsh and hazardous environments, Eaton is applying deep expertise to help customers modernise their facilities and support uninterrupted operations and enhanced productivity,” said Andrew Agan, Director of IEC Marketing at Eaton. “With our new CEAG ExLin LED linear fixtures, industrial customers can improve upon the overall cost, energy efficiency and maintenance required of lighting systems.”
Part of Eaton’s expansive solutions for harsh and hazardous areas, the ExLin fixtures are compliant with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and European Union (IECEx and ATEX) standards for equipment used in explosive environments. Eaton’s ExLin LED linear fixtures are designed to replace 2x18 W, 2x36 W and 2x58 W hazardous area fluorescent fixtures. The ExLin is lightweight and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 55°C.
Eaton offers a range of Crouse-Hinds series cable fittings, enclosures, plugs and receptacles, industrial lighting fixtures, signals and alarms, and electronic components designed for the most demanding environments. Its products serve customers in the industrial and manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, solar, infrastructure and other markets.
